Strataderm is a rapidly drying, non-sticky, transparent, silicone gel formulation for the treatment of both old and new scars as well as abnormal scar prevention, in the form of hypertrophic scars and keloids.

Strataderm dries to form a silicone gel sheet, a protective layer that is gas permeable and waterproof which hydrates and protects scars from chemical and microbial invasion, allowing scars to normalise the collagen synthesis cycles, producing a normal mature scar.

Strataderm is used to soften and flatten scars, relieve the itching and discomfort of scars as well as reduce redness and discolouration associated with scars.

Strataderm is the proven and convenient once-daily application solution for the prevention and treatment of scars. It is easily applied to all areas of the skin, including exposed areas like the face and neck as well as joints and hairy areas without the need for shaving.

Strataderm was developed for use on all types of scars including those resulting from general and cosmetic surgery, trauma, chronic wounds, burns or bites.

Strataderm is suitable for people with sensitive skin and for children.

How much Strataderm do I need?

Strataderm does not soak into the skin, rather it dries to form a very thin layer that is less than the thickness of a piece of paper or as if you stretch a piece of household clingfilm over your skin. This is why one tube of Strataderm goes a long way and usually lasts for a treatment of 90 days or more.

Choose the correct tube size for your treatment from the table below:

StrataXRT is a full contact flexible wound dressing for the prevention and treatment of radiation dermatitis.

StrataXRT dries to form a thin, flexible wound dressing which hydrates and protects affected areas. StrataXRT has no measurable pH value so does not affect the fragile acid mantle of the skin.

StrataXRT helps to promote optimal environment for faster wound healing and significantly reduces the skin's acute inflammatory response seen with both dry and wet desquamation from radiation dosing.

StrataXRT protects the fragile edipermis and maintains skin's integrity, preventing the outmost layers from excessive sloughing.

StrataXRT protects the dermal stroma from long-term deterioration whilst optimising the environment for reparative process and reducing the risk of infection.

StrataXRT is used to relieve low grade inflammatory changes such as dry, itching, flaking, peeling and irritated skin. For more severe inflammatory changes, StrataXRT reduces pain, redness and heat and helps soothe the exposed skin areas.

StrataXRT is ideal for large surfaces areas and contoured skin like breast, face, back and pelvic area, as well as joints and hairy areas without the need for shaving.

StrataXRT contains no alcohol, parabens or fragrances and is transparent abs odourless.
StrataXRT can be used with or without a secondary protective dressing.
StrataXRT is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin.
